GOD'S WEB RESOURCES

Are we Awaiting the Beginning of the Seven-year Rule of the Antichrist, and the Rapture?

Alexandria, Virginia (PRWeb) January 24, 2007 -- Holy Fire Publishing releases Mystery of the Covenant (Paperback, US$15.99, ISBN#1-933899-62-X). Author Derek Wiley's book, Mystery of the Covenant, details the makeup of the familiar doctrine that addresses Daniel's seventy weeks prophecy contained in Daniel 9:24-27. The main purpose of the book is to dissect every point of those four verses.

Mystery of the Covenant is a book that explains what many other books do not: the importance of God's covenant with ancient Israel through Moses, and His new covenant with all nations through Jesus Christ. Mystery of the Covenant reveals how the old and new covenants are intimately weaved; that they technically constitute one covenant but have two components--temporal and spiritual.

Wiley writes that God established His covenants through Moses and Jesus, but He established His covenants with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). Wiley maintains that being armed with this information makes it easier to understand why many professing Christian churches accept that they live in an age of "grace," without the laws of the Old Testament.

In Mystery of the Covenant, Wiley explains, among other things, why it is taught that the antichrist will "confirm the covenant with many for one week," which is the final seven years ascribed to Daniel's seventy weeks prophecy. And, the reader will learn what is meant by the portion of Scripture that says the antichrist will "cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" in the middle of the final seven years.

Forty-year-old Derek J. Wiley lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife, Therese. They have been married since 2001. Wiley's passion is to explain, in simple terms, God's salvation for mankind through Christ. Wiley's ministry, Israel the Church, is in the beginning of its organizational phase. It is a church freely open to all people from any nation. Wiley is a layman who functions as a teacher or minister, and he will be available for book signings and speaking engagements. His Web site is Israel The Church.
